The Adventures of Lazy Liz

Currently in the middle of a couple of projects, and decided to share a dapple comic I created. I've also been reading a lot of Calvin and Hobbes (Cause Watterson is a Boss) and the Toon Treasury of Classic Children's Comics (resect to the greats who made the industry).

May our tea never go cold and our spandex never where out!

Father & Daughter Date Night

Again I worked with the wonderful Community Christian Church to creating images for their events. I love CCC & I love creating for them. These guys have an amazing impact in their community.
This illustration was created for their Father & Daughter Date Night. When it was pitched I was super on board! Painting a picnic under the stars has been on my create bucket list for awhile and it is nice to know that it is going to be put to good use.

Sugar Rush Season

Personally, this is my favorite time of year. The trees are changing into my favorite colors, the air has a refreshing crisp to it and waiting for warm goodies to be come out of the oven! Did I mention sweaters? Cause Sweaters are the best!

For most kids this is the main reason that they are excited about October is because the one night when its acceptable to horde candy is right around the corner!

GET EXCITED FOR YOUR SUGAR RUSH!

Portland has welcomed us with its grizzly tattooed flannel arms. It has been great to walk around the town and seeing how much artistic life is living here.

Liz Cleaves Illustration is hitting the Oregon Trail

Greetings All
Yesterday I started on an adventure. I'm leaving Pennsylvania and driving two thousand eight hundred eighty eighty miles to Portland Oregon. My co-pilot is my cousin Al,  a fearsomely handsome New Yorker, who when speaks women swoon and men nod their heads in approval.

Together we shall share the highways with truckers, drink ungodly amounts of old burnt gas station coffee, eat our way though america's local dinning establishment's grease, race each other across the Great Salt Flats and will be able to boss anyone in the
"what states have you visited?"game.

The Studio is temporally halted due to its all squeezed in the back of my car, tighter then a 1800's century corset. Commission work will presume again July 29th.  So keep those ideas fresh in your mind and shoot me an email. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Please know that your project will be started as soon as the studio is unpacked, up and running.

I invite you follow along with the adventure though Instagram and Twitter.

Just want to also say thanks to the peeps who totally support me and encouraged though this huge endever, Mom, Jerry, Alex, Hannah & Mat, Fink, Luann, Michelle, Ja'quan/Jed, Velardi, Francos,
Uncle Roger & Yeager
See you guys on the other side.
